Artifact Puzzles Rekunenko Royal Bookseller Wooden Jigsaw

This is a 120 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle of a charmingly detailed painting by Ukrainian painter Valentin Rekunenko. The puzzle is actually oval-shaped, with some of the image detail not shown in the product image (or on the box sticker). When the pieces tumble out of the box, they all look a bit brown, and it takes a few minutes to discover the subtle shade differences and exquisitely-painted details. The puzzle pieces were designed by Tara Flannery, with reverse mushroom-curl connectors and whimsy pieces that echo the image. Like all our puzzles, the pieces are laser-cut from 1/4 thick wood.
